The Gaetz Aerospace Institute at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in collaboration with Panhandle Area Educational Consortium, is hosting more FREE online STEM learning excitement and fun in Summer 2021 with Launch into STEM Fun 2.0! Both institutions have a rich history of engaging students in summer STEM activities and this summer will be no exception! All students, currently in grades 4-11, who want to learn, take part in hands-on STEM activities, and have fun while doing so are invited to explore session descriptions, select, register, and attend the epic sessions offered this year.

WHAT is VIRTUAL Launch into STEM FUN 2.0? ? FREE, nine-day virtual event during which students take part in hands-on STEM fun online from any location! Students will work with instructors during live online sessions. ? More than 110 free online learning sessions, each an hour-long, from which to choose. Students select and attend as many sessions as they wish. ? Opportunities to build, design, problem solve, analyze materials, and get creative, while learning about STEM careers from amazing presenters, writing code for robots, and MORE! ? Learning will occur in secure environment where student identities will be hidden and chat comments will not be public; instead, comments go directly to a teacher who is acting as a host for the meeting room. ? Majority of hands-on activities require items students have access to at home or that are readily accessible.

HOW do I join the fun? ? Go to ? Click on the “create an account” tab at the top of the page. ? Complete the account information. ? Beginning Friday, May 14, 2021 you may register for sessions! You will be able to log into your account, review sessions that are available and register for those that interest you. Feel free to register for as many as you like! You may print the registration information so you’ll have a list of the materials you’ll need, and you’ll receive email reminders.

WHO Any student in grades 4-11 this year. Appropriate grade levels for sessions are identified.

WHEN June 8 – 10, 2021; June 15 – 17, 2021; June 22 – 24, 2021
